
Falcons camp swells ahead of Senegal friendlies as 11 players arrived at the Super Falcons camp in Ikenne, Ogun State, by Tuesday evening. The team is preparing for two friendly matches against Senegal.
Asisat Oshoala, Shukurat Oladipo, and Kafayat Shittu were among the first players to arrive on Monday. Eight more players joined the camp on Tuesday.
Falcons camp swells ahead of Senegal friendlies with the arrival of Joy Omewa, Tosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Nkor, Folashade Ijamilusi, Anderline Mgbechi, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and Omorinsola Babajide.
Head coach Justine Madugu invited 23 players for the friendlies. The matches will help the team prepare for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Super Falcons will face Egypt, Zambia, and Malawi in Group C of the tournament.
Before the competition, Nigeria will play Senegal on June 5 and June 8. Both matches will take place at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne-Remo.
More players are expected to join camp as preparations continue.
