The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has scheduled the 2026 UTME mop-up examination for June 13, 2026, to help candidates who missed the main examination due to technical issues, biometric verification problems, and examination infractions.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin announced the date in a statement released on Monday. He said the board organised the 2026 UTME mop-up examination for candidates who completed biometric verification but could not sit for the examination conducted between April 16 and 23, 2026.
The board said the 2026 UTME mop-up examination marks the final phase of the admission exercise and will address all unresolved examination challenges involving affected candidates. JAMB stressed that the exercise gives eligible candidates one last opportunity to complete the examination process.
JAMB also directed affected candidates to start printing their Examination Notification Slips from June 6, 2026. The board advised candidates to visit and familiarise themselves with their examination centres before the examination date to avoid delays or confusion.
The board warned that it would not provide another opportunity for candidates after the 2026 UTME mop-up examination. JAMB urged all affected candidates to make adequate preparations ahead of the exercise.
