Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, on Wednesday led members of the Pyrates Confraternity to honour the late Emeritus Prof. Biodun Jeyifo at his burial ceremony in Ibadan.
Prof. Jeyifo, a former president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), passed away at the age of 80 and was laid to rest in Oyo State.
Members of the confraternity, popularly known as the Pirates, joined family, friends, and associates to pay their final respects to the distinguished scholar, who was highly regarded in academic and intellectual communities.
